Unlike Athena, who sprang full-grown from the brow of Zeus, Burk just turned up at a science fiction con one day. To date, he's written eight books, including novellas and short story collections. He's also had his stories in several of the Bubbas of the Apocalypse collections. His most recent novel is THE LONG WAY HOME, published by Wolfsinger Publications, and is intended to be the first of a series, the Recon 9 series. He also likes to laugh a lot.
